Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy
The Website uses limited local storage for theme and consent preferences. Google Analytics cookies are permitted only after an affirmative analytics choice; advertising technologies follow the applicable Google Privacy & Messaging choices.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are browser-stored values. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, pixels, scripts, SDKs, advertising identifiers and consent records.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
Technologies essential to deliver a requested service may qualify for a consent exemption, but it must be assessed narrowly.
3. Functional technologies
The active theme preference remembers a visitor's light, dark or system choice. It contains no calculator inputs.
4. Preferences
Visitors can change the theme or clear site storage through browser controls.
5. Analytics
Google Analytics 4 remains blocked until the visitor selects Allow analytics. Its standard first-party cookies and tag are listed in the inventory below.
6. Advertising
Google AdSense is configured on eligible pages. Ad delivery and storage depend on region, Google Privacy & Messaging choices and provider settings.
7. Consent management
HandyGrid provides a functional allow-or-decline control that directly gates the Analytics tag. A recognised Global Privacy Control signal defaults optional Analytics to declined. Google Privacy & Messaging separately handles applicable advertising choices.
8. Third-party technologies
Google Analytics and, where enabled, Google AdSense are the configured third-party technologies. NordVPN affiliate links lead to a separately controlled merchant site. Activation and navigation depend on the choices and conditions described in this Policy.
9. Session and persistent duration
Session storage normally ends with a session; persistent storage remains until expiry or deletion. Exact active durations appear below.
10. Requesting consent
Where required, non-essential technologies must remain disabled until a freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous affirmative choice.
11. Withdrawing consent
Use Privacy Choices in the footer to change Analytics consent. Google's advertising message provides its own privacy and cookie settings where applicable.
12. Reopening privacy choices
The footer Privacy Choices control reopens HandyGrid's Analytics choice. Applicable Google advertising choices are presented separately through Google Privacy & Messaging.
13. Browser controls
Browsers can block or delete storage. Blocking a requested preference may prevent it being remembered.
14. Consequences
Deleting the theme entry resets the visual theme to the system default. Core calculations continue.
