HEIC to JPG

Convert HEIC or HEIF photos to compatible JPG images. Your selected photos are processed locally and are never sent to us.

HOW IT WORKS

Convert HEIC photos to JPG locally

The browser decodes each selected HEIC or HEIF photo and creates a JPG at 90% quality. JPG is widely supported but is lossy, and the new file may not retain metadata, depth information, Live Photo motion, auxiliary images or the source image's bit depth.

  • Metadata and HEIC-specific features may not be preserved.
  • Your selected photos are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to us.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Convert HEIC photos to JPG locally FAQ

Why convert HEIC to JPG?

JPG works in more websites, apps and older devices, while HEIC can store similar-looking photos more efficiently.

Will the JPG be identical to the HEIC photo?

No. JPG uses lossy compression and cannot preserve every HEIC feature. Check the result before deleting or archiving the original.

Can I convert several HEIC photos?

Yes. One file downloads as a JPG; multiple files download together in a ZIP archive.
